1. You must be the creator of the content
Your book must be your original work, or a collaborative project you have permission to publish.
2. Keep it legal, and don’t put readers in danger
No content that violates U.S. laws — like promoting violence, inciting crimes, or exploiting others.
3. No plagiarism — period
Original content only. If your book includes quoted or sourced material, credit it properly.
4. PDFs must be upload-ready for processing
Submit your completed, final book file through the Author Upload Portal. We’ll convert it into a secure, password-protected reader on your behalf. We support Indie Authors at all stages. You’re responsible for how your book represents you — we just ask that it be readable and has a consistent format.
If you're seeking help polishing your book, check out our Service Provider Co-op page. We feature service providers who have been recommended by our Author Members based on above-average satisfaction. These providers receive free advertising in exchange for offering our members a discount (as shown in each ad).
5. AI-generated books are welcome — with author responsibility
If you use AI to help write your book, that’s totally fine — just make sure you are the creator of the concept, and that the content is original, readable, and not plagiarized or scraped. Your name is still on the cover.
